Everything in Perspective

While trying to pack up our
nine months here in France
I decided to check my airplane
reservations one more time,
even though they were
confirmed.  My conclusion,
after spending the entire day
on the phone?;

"DO NOT TRUST UNITED"

1. United entered me as a "no show"
on their data base even though I was on my scheduled
 flight from the States,
the flight United had confirmed previously.
2. United cancelled my return flight from Europe
 because they entered me as a no show on my outgoing flight!
3. United changed their pet policies March after I had a
 booked flight last summer.

After hours of polite but firm, "this is not acceptable,"
I finally received two flights flying out this Sunday.  I
am still trying to talk to a real person regarding flying
Piper, our dog out.

Frustrated and exhausted by the end of the day,
I received an email from Rachel linking me to
an article that certainly placed my problems in
perspective;
Series of suicides on the tracks of the SNCF for Pentecost.
Twelve people threw themselves under the train
here in France.

What to do when your life seems a wee bit out
of control?  Qi Gong
which I am going to practice right now!
